Franklin County, Ohio - Frederick Agler and his wife Margaret Van Gundy were in Franklin County, Ohio by 1807, but their whereabouts before that time remain elusive. It is likely that both were originally from Pennsylvania. Frederick died in 1824 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Mifflin Township. Margaret died in 1843 and is buried beside Frederick.

Oldest son John Agler and wife Susannh Baughman remained in the Franklin County area while raising their family of eleven children. Eldest daughter Mary Agler married Henry Baughman; together they raised their family of thirteen children in Auglaize County, Ohio.
