Morey - Joseph Morey came to Granville around 1813, bringing the skills he learned as a stonemason in Rutland County, Vermont. Joseph and his wife Jane relocated to Knox County in 1827, with their family of six children: David, Joseph, Marian, Maria, William, and Letutia. His brother Abraham Morey was in Licking before 1826, settling in the Homer area. Abraham's son William P. Morey moved his family to Auglaize County, Ohio around 1837. • Morey Index
