Ames - Mary Elizabeth Ames was a resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana as a young adult. Mary Elizabeth's future husband, John F. Musser, is listed in the Fort Wayne city directory in 1878. The couple was married in Allen County, Ohio, in late 1878. Ames Index Cannady - Moving from Virginia through Ohio, the Henry Cannady family settled in Allen County, Indiana by 1850. Skilled as plasterers, they contributed to the architectural beauty of the city of Fort Wayne, before moving to Cass County, Michigan shortly after 1860. Son Augustus Cannady, a saloon proprietor, died in Fort Wayne in 1877, leaving a widow and five children: Mary, Frank, Emma, George, and Flora. Cannady Index Musser -John Musser was listed in the 1878 Fort Wayne city directory as "Musser, John, works spoke factory, boards W. M. Cutler." Musser Index |
