Family Remembrance:795, p. 65. "Mary Frances Warnock, fifth child of Presley and Rachel Frame Warnock, b. May 7, 1843, according to family records, and the 1850 census lists her as being six years old which would make her born about 1844. She was born in Porter County, Indiana. It is probable that her mother, Rachel, died at her birth for Presley married on April 9, 1846, Dorotha Davis. Mary Frances Warnock married December 6, 1866, Cal Howell (Clackamas County, Oregon, Marriage records, p. 46)."

1843 Birth:2608,2328,2280,2614 Birth date of 1 May 1843 taken 1923 death certificate in Clackamas County and from tombstone in Springwater Cemetery, Clackamas County, Oregon. Birth place assumed to be Porter County, Indiana as the Warnock family was enumerated there in 1840. Enumeration schedules actually indicate Lake County, but that is assumed to be boundary error, as no other evidence shows a residence in that county. Father Presley Warnock took possession of 88 acres of federal land in Porter County in 1837.

1850 U.S. Census:1380 Mary F. enumerated in the household of her father Presley Warnock in Porter Township, Porter County, Indiana as a female, age 6, born in Indiana, in school within the year.

1853 on the Oregon Trail:2549 In an affidavit filed on 17 November 1855 in connection with is donation land claim, father Presley Warnock attests that he and his family arrived in Oregon Territory on 25 September 1853.

1866 Marriage:925 "State of Oregon. County of Clackamas. This certifies that the undersigned, a Minister of the Gospel, by authority of a License bearing the date of 3rd day of Dec. A. D. 1866, and issued by the County Clerk of the County of Clackamas, did on the 6th day of Dec. A. D. 1866 at the house of Presley Warnock, in the County and State aforesaid, join in lawful wedlock C. Howell of the County of Clackamas and State of Oregon, and Mary F. Warnock of the County of Clackamas and State of Oregon, with their mutual assent, in the presence of Presley Warnock and Abigal J. Heckaras, witnesses. Witness my hand, Rev. R. I. Oglesby. Filed and recorded Dec. 10, 1866. J. M. Bacon, recorder."
