Farley indicates the surname was spelled Woldenmeyer in Samuel Sr.’s will. in Hopewell Township of York County, where she and David lived the remainder of their lives. The will of David Waltimeyer1372, p. 186. As his authority, Farley cites York County Wills 8-425; probated Oct. 5, 1844. devised his property to his wife, Margaret; Abraham Winemiller, son of David’s daughter Catherine; David’s daughter Elizabeth, wife of Jacob Dennis and their son Henry Dennis; David’s daughter Catherine whose second husband was Valentine Smith; David’s daughter Susan, wife of Jacob Krout; David’s daughter Christiana, wife of Jacob Miller; and David’s sons John George, Frederick, and Philip. John Saffer, a son-in-law, whose wife was evidently deceased at the time the will was written was named executor."
