Notes for Anna Catharine LERCH

Biographical Sketch (1985):1513, p. 50. "Anna Catharine and Johann Georg Frey arrived in North Carolina on 11 June 1765 (A. E. Collins, written communication, 24 March 1984). Georg was a farmer and blacksmith. Both are buried at the Friedburg Moravian Church at Friedburg, North Carolina. By the time Georg wrote his will in 1812, he listed an impressive amount of personal property including a slave. He had previously transferred 350 acres to one of his son-in-laws, so the move to North Carolina obviously had been fruitful."

1766 Inheritance:1513, p. 23. Father Caspar Lerch bequeathed to "my daughter, Catherina Lark, alias Frey, the sum of 25 pounds money as aforesaid to be paid within 3 years as aforesaid."
