1934 Obituary:1831 Mrs. E. S. Gray Dies At Advanced Age. Mrs. Elinor Sophia Gray passed away early this morning at the residence of her son, L. G. Gray, 2826 Blackwood Street, in her eighty-fourth year. A native of Eyke, Ipswich, England, Mrs. Gray came to Victoria twenty-six years ago and is mourned by three daughters: Mrs. W. Tippett, Mrs. H. D. Plymsell, and Mrs. H. H. Grist, all of Victoria, and four sons: George F., in Los Angeles, and P. O. Gray, L. G. Gray, and C. H. Gray, all of this city, and eleven grandchildren. The remains are reposing at Hayward’s B.C. Funeral Chapel and services will be held from the above residence on Friday, at 3:30 o’clock. Interment will be in Royal Oak Burial Park.
