1934 Death2890 Sylvia Sillen's death was noted in the The Lima News obituary of her husband Philip Bruce Sillin:Bruce Sillin. Wapakoneta, Sept. 11, Bruce Sillin, 91, died at 6:20 p.m. Monday at his home north of here after an illness of several weeks due to complication of diseases. He was born on a farm north of here Sept. 29, 1842, and resided in that district all his life. He was a member of the Buckland Christian Church. His wife died seven weeks ago today. One son, John, was fatally injured in an automobile accident 22 years ago and a step-son, Roy Hoopingarner, died 18 months ago. One daughter, Mrs. John Deering, at home, survives. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the residence with the Rev. Walter Klinger and the Rev. Paul
Dewey in charge. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
