Notes for Sophia REICHELDIEFER

Birth Place:2112 1880 census enumeration for son Albert Musser indicates his mother was born in Ohio.

1872 Marriage:2155, cites Marriage Record, Book C, page 433 or 438 (difficult to read) Christian Musser married Sophia Reicheldiefer, 10 December 1872, in Adams County, Indiana; ceremony performed by J. K. Finzer, Minister.

Two other members of Reicheldeffer family were married in same decade: Charles Reicheldeffer married Eliza Ortman on 8 February 1879 and Julia A. Reicheldfer married Jacob Ruple on 12 February 1878.

Death Prior to 1880:2112 Sophia Reicheldiefer Musser is presumed to have died prior to the 1880 U.S. census, based on finding Albert Musser as a 6 year old living in the household of Charles Lonkman, along with an 18 year old half-brother, George Musser, in the same household. The census enumeration for Albert Musser gives his own birthplace as Indiana, his father’s birthplace as France, and his mother’s birthplace as Ohio.
