1999 Obituary:3815 Elda A. Evensen. Portage / Wheeler. Elda A. Evensen, 90, of Portage, Indiana, a lifelong resident of Wheeler, Indiana, passed away at Porter Memorial Hospital on Friday, December 10, 1999. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Hobart and the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #314 of Hobart. Preceded in death by her husband, Otto Evensen and son, Ronald. Survived by two sons, Dwayne (Betty) Evensen of Portage and William (Michaline) Evensen of Valparaiso; daughter, Shirley (Melvin) Monnier of Portage; daughter-in-law, Beverley Evensen of Portage; 14 grandchildren, 20 great- grandhcildren and five great- great- grandchildren. |
