1962 Obituary:3814 Otto Evensen. Wheeler. Otto Evensen, age 59, Wheeler, died this morning in St. Mary's Mercy hospital, Gary, after being ill only a few hours. He was a native of Chicago, but had been a Wheeler resident most of his life. He was a member of the F. & A.M. McClellan lodge of Hobart. He was employed by the American Bridge of Gary. Survivors are his widow, Elda, three sons, Ronald, Concord, California, Dwayne and William, Hobart; one daughter Shirley at home; 10 grandchildren and one brother, Evan of Hammond. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Pflughoeft Funeral home in Hobart with the Rev. Larry Oberlein of the Wheeler Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. |
