Biographical Sketch (1932):3610 "John Jacob Musser, born Feb. 29, 1756.3611 He married Catherine ——. No record of John Jacob is obtainable further than that he purchased with his brother Daniel, the 125-acre farm owned by his father Michael Sr., in 1788.3612 A Jacob Musser died in what is now Mahoning County, Ohio before 1813. He may have been this son of Michael, but the name of his only known child does not appear in the list of the Mahoning County Jacob's heirs. This Jacob is likely the 'Jacob Sr.,' mentioned in the appraisal of the estate of Samuel. He was Samuel's brother if he has been properly identified. Child: 1) Susannah, b. Aug. 6, 1791.3613 Witness to baptism, Samuel and Maria Moser."
