Biographical Sketch (1932):1372, p. 149-151. "Samuel Jr. was ensign of the 6th Company, 3rd Battalion, York County militia during the Revolution.1372, p. 149. As his authority, Farley cites Prowell, Geo. R., Continental Congress at York, Pennsylvania, p. 266, 281 and Warner and Beers, History of Cumberland and Adams County, Part II, p. 36. ,1552 Samuel Jr. born Oct. 29, 1750, died May 14, 1816. Interment was in a private cemetery on the farm he inherited from his father. This farm, about four miles southeast of York is now (1931) owned by Eli Wenika. Samuel Jr. was married three times. His first wife was Eva Geiselman, daughter of Michael and Margaret Geiselman of Shrewsbury Township, York County. His second wife was Margaret ——; and his third wife was Barbara ——, who survived him.

Samuel Jr.'s children, descendants of whom live chiefly in York County:1372, p. 149. As his authority, Farley indicates the birth dates of Samuel's children except George are taken from Christ Lutheran Church Records, York County Historical Society. 1.) Adam, b. Dec. 28, 1782,1372, p. 149. Farley indicates Christ Lutheran Church Records, York County Historical Society, give his birth as Jan. 27, 1783. a son of Samuel Jr. and Margaret; 2.) George, b. Dec. 21, 1788, a son of Samuel Jr. and Barbara; 3.) Catherine, b. Aug. 9, 1780, a daughter of Samuel Jr. and Eva Geiselman."

Samuel Moser Jr. listed in 1769 tax list of York Township, which in 1769 embraced most of the area of Springsettsbury and Spring Garden townships, as the owner of 25 acres. Samuel Moser Sr. and Michael also listed as taxpayers.

1772 Land Purchase:1543, p. 126. On 7 July 1772, 80 acres in York Township were warranted to Samuel Moser on the Blunston license, M-262 in York Warrant Register.
