Biographical Sketch (1932):3491 "Eve, who was likely named for her grandmother, Maria Eva, married Jacob Good in York County, Pennsylvania. They moved to Lawrence Township, Tuscarawas County about 1807. Jacob Good kept the first tavern in northern Tuscarawas County.3492 According to the U. S. census of 1800, Jacob and Eve had four daughters. One of them, whose name was Mary, married a Stout. Perhaps the Susanna who married a Blosser was also their child. Jacob Good purchased a lot in Lawrenceville from his father-in-law in 1808.3493 He also bought farm land from Abraham in 1808 and 1809.3494 Jacob and Eve did not seem to care for pioneer life and went back to Washington, Pennsylvania, before 1818.3495 They were still living in Washington in 1823 when they gave a quit-claim deed3496 to John Machan Jr. who bought Abraham Musser's property after this death."
