Neither St. Joseph, Missouri, Death Notices from the Catholic Tribune, (1889-1894, 1916-1921, 1921-1925, 1932-1934, and 1935-1937) or St. Joseph, Missouri, Deaths 1891-1909, (vol. L-R) indicate the death of any female with the "Mitchell" surname that would correspond to Kate Mitchell.

1848 Birth:410,2086 Birth year of 1848 estimated based on age of 2 years in 1850 census enumeration. Birth place of Auglaize County, Ohio assumed due to her parents residence in that location in 1840 and 1850. Auglaize County was created from Allen County in 1848.

1860 Confirmation:819 Catharina Klupfel confirmed St. Emanuel Church, Dayton, Ohio. [This could also be cousin Catharina, daughter of Franz and Elizabeth.]
