1942 Obituary:363 Brother of Local man is Taken by Death in Piqua. Joseph Wehner, 70, a resident of Piqua for many years, died at his home there Sunday morning after an extended illness. He had been bedfast for a week. Mr. Wehner was born on a farm south of Fryburg, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Wehner. Forty years ago he was united in marriage with Elizabeth Klosterman, who died in 1931. John Wehner, South Blackhoof Street and George Wehner of St. Marys are the surviving brothers. He was a blacksmith and machinist by trade. The funeral service will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in the St. Boniface church in Piqua with burial in a Piqua cemetery.
