Son Lawrence Gray indicated in a letter1616 that "I was living in Wimbledon Park at that time when I emigrated along with one sister and three brothers to Victoria, British Columbia on December 7th, 1907." Lawrence also noted on an illustration of the ship R.M.S. Empress of Ireland that it was "the ship that brot G. F. Gray from England to America in 1907." That immigrant group likely included George Fosdick, age 35; Percy Owen, age 23; Mabel Violet, age 20; Lawrence Gilbert, age 16; and Cecil Harold, age 15. Rose Elizabeth remained in London with husband Harry Plymsell. The deceased, who was 66 years of age, was a native of London, England, and had lived in Victoria for the past seven years. Besides his widow he is survived by four sons: George, Percy, Lawrence, and Cecil, all of Victoria; and three daughters: Mrs. H. Grist of Gordon Head, Mrs. W. Tippet, of Gordon Head, and one daughter in England. The funeral service, which will be private, will be held at the family residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock.
