1805 Birth:1450,1462 Transcribed and translated from the Hausen Parish records: Katharina, legitim, midwife Margaretha Mayer, (father) Johann Joseph Kluepfel, cooper master, Catholic, Hausen house #2, (mother) Margaretha Schlembach, birth May 5, 1805, 11 o'clock in the night; baptism, May 6, in Hausen, district court Schweinfurt, J. Spaha, pearson, (godmother) Katharina Endresin, miller daughter from Hausen.

1835 Marriage:1455,1448 Transcribed and translated from the Hausen Parish records: Johann Brunn, dayworker, living in Mechenried, district Haßfurt, born 19 June 1798, parents Georg Brunn and Margaretha Haßfurter (?), marriage on 17 November 1835 to Catharina Kluepfel, farmer's daughter from hausen, district Schweinfurt, born May 5, 1805, parents Johann Kluepfel and Margaretha Schlembach, witnesses Johann Haertel, shoemaker master in Schonungen, Peter Haertlein, dayworker in Hausen.

1844 Immigration:1448,1455 "This couple moved on May 18, 1844 with children to America" noted on marriage entry in parish records; transcribed and translated from the Hausen Parish records.

1844 Baptism Sponsor:1439 Katherine Klüpfel, along with Joseph Hemmert, sponsored the infant Catherine Wehner (b. 17 June 1822 (sic 1844)) in the Congregation of St. Peter and Paul.

1850 U.S. Census:1435 Catherine Klipfel listed in household of John Brunn as 45, female, born in Germany.

1854 Baptism Sponsor:1463 Catherine Knipfel sponsored, along with Joseph Wener, the infant Charles Jos. Hein. Schoenfelder (b. 31 Dec. 1854) in the Congregation of St. Peter and Paul.

1860 U.S. Census:1443 Catherine enumerated in household of her husband John Brunn as female, age 55, born in Bavaria.

1870 U.S. Census:1461 Catherine enumerated in household of her husband John Brunn as female, age 65, born in Bavaria.

1872 Executrix of Husband's Estate:1444 John Brunn left his "beloved wife" her dower in his real estate along with one cow, half of the chickens, and all the household furnishings; the remainder of the estate was left to son Franz. He named his wife as Executrix.

1880 U.S. Census:1445 Catherine enumerated in household of her son Francis Brunn in Shelby County, Clinton Township, Ohio as female, age 75, born in Bavaria, with "Schweinfurt" written above as place of birth. [Note: Hausen by Schonungen1462 is in the vicinity of Schweinfurt.]

1891 Death Record:1451 Catharine Bruner, born in Ohio, age 85 years, 10 months, 8 days, died 13 May 1891 in Pusheta Township, of heart disease.

1891 Death Record:1440 Catherine Brunn, death date: 13 Mar 1891; burial date: 16 Mar 1891; about 85 years, 11 months old; wife of John Brunn; buried in Petersburg Cemetery. No indication that tombstone is still standing; stone for Catherine Brunn, 48 years, 2 months, 22 days is for Catherine Warmuth, wife of Francis Brunn. Rupert Cemetery, Pusheta Township, Auglaize County, Ohio is also known as St. Peter Catholic Cemetery and Petersburg Cemetery.

Rupert Cemetery:1437 Large monument at east side of cemetery reads as follows: "This monument is in memory of the St. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic congregation of Pusheta Township, Auglaize Co., Ohio. The first Roman Catholics of this congregation settled in the vicinity in 1833. Purchased this land for church and grave yard purposes 1835. And erected a church of logs the same year. This church was destroyed by fire the 2nd of Sept. 1884. This monument marks the site of the Alter in that church. The first priest stationed here was Rev. Martin Bobst, who died Nov. 28, 1848 and is interred here. 'Reauescat in Pace.' This monument was erected during the administration of the most Reverend William Henry Elder, Archbishop of Cincinnati, Ohio on Jan. 27, 1892. Michael Warmuth, Lorenz Diegelmann, John H. Koenig, Trustees Sts. Peter & Paul Congregation. There are only a few stones left in this cemetery."
