The adjacent household was that of Samuel's brother Silas Frame,830 enumerated at the bottom of the previous census page. Elizabeth Magill Frame, age 84, widow of Jeremiah Frame and mother of Silas and Samuel, was living in the same household, which was the Frame homestead. 1850 U.S. Census:865 Mary "Polly" enumerated in the household of her son William Frame, age 30, in Jackson Township, Preble county, Ohio, as a female, age 54, born in Kentucky. Her mother Lena Hornbaker, age 81, and her son Levi were also living in William's household. Enumerated in adjacted households were Mary's brother-in-law Silas Frame, who inherited the homestead of Jeremiah Frame upon his death. This continues the pattern of seen in 1840: the growing families of Silas and Samuel Frame living on the family homestead.
